As you may know, I am Dr John Watson, formerly of the East India Company. I have the privilege of having documented many cases of my colleague of greater fame, Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective. The case I am about to share with you is a favourite of mine, though Holmes prefers to erase it from his mind. That morning, Holmes and I were at 221B Baker Street when Mrs. Hudson came in with home made freshly squeezed orange juice, Scottish marmalade, buttered toast, and Columbian mocha-coffee. A telegram (you kids might know this "Email") was on the tray. Holmes grabbed that first and read the message with controlled but feverish excitement. It was from Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard. "Ah, Watson, A game is afoot, at last!" he uttered. Gone was his appetite, for Holmes loved nothing more thanthe symptoms of crime. A visit from Lestrade always meant that Scotland Yard was bewildered, and they needed the superior cognitive calibre of Holmes. Promptly as Big Ben struck 10 o'clock, Lestrade's cabriolet stopped outside our abode. I closed my text on "Infectious Respiratory Disease Tracking in the 21s Century" and settled down to listen to our good friend. Holmes hurriedly cleaned up the foyer, threw various papers, monographs behind my armchair to create a semblance of tidiness. He filled his pipe with the usual rum-soaked tobacco and stood behind my armchair. Lestrade entered "Ah, my good inspector", chimed Holmes, barely hiding his nervous excitement, hoping for some much- maligned misdemeanour, "I pray this is just a social call". I glanced at him askew, knowing that for precisely the opposite. Holmes knew little of the word 'social'. Lestrade nodded at me and proceeded to take off his standard issue Inspector's gloves. "No, Holmes, I must admit I have a delicate case here that needs your advanced powers. I am afraid I don't have many facts. I was on my way to make an arrest, but, if I act hastily, this may bring certain tragic consequences. Hence, I thought I should assess the risks accordingly with you". You've blood test results, evidence of bank transactions, history of some deceit, this has been a disappointing waste of Rubbish time! Gut feeling says that this case is closed. Now, where is my violin?". With that, Holmes shutdown the interview rather abruptly, leaving Lestrade no further than where he came in. I knew that all we had was meagre evidence but lots of, what Holmes called, gut feeling. Would this be enough to accuse Mrs. Harker?
