Course: Statistical Methods
Country's largest beer distributor at its board meeting discusses its marketing strategy for 2019. General Manager argues that he wants to reuse presentation of products with "En Vivo" concept, which consists of supporting rock concerts with "SHELLA EN VIVO" and linking brand with artists. General Manager is firmly convinced that this will increase sales in supermarkets by 50,000 units in one week. Project Manager has serious doubts about effectiveness of Manager's strategy, so he needs to find evidence that could reverse Manager's proposal and convince him not to do it, so he commissioned company's research group to collect data on increase in sales when this type of advertising has been applied. Researchers compiled a random sample of 20 events of same type that had occurred in past, recording increase in sales obtained, a summary of which is presented in Table 2.1.
