CPCCWHS2001 Task 3.1 - Prepare for Work Tasks IMPORTANT: This task must be completed twice. Once for each of the two workplace tasks required for Part III of this assessment. While being observed by your assessor, prepare for the workplace task you have selected to complete with your supervisor. STEPS TO TAKE How you will complete this task will depend on the workplace task you have selected. However, for a satisfactory performance, you must undertake all of the following steps. 1. Access and review: Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) Safe Work Method Statements (SWMSs) relevant to the workplace task You will need to demonstrate compliance with these WHS documents in Task 3.2. 2. Access and review plant and equipment guards: Manufacturers' specifications Work site regulations Australian Standards You will need to demonstrate compliance with these WHS documents in Task 3.2. 3. Demonstrate correct fitting and wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing. 4. Select the tools, equipment, and materials required for the task. Do not use prohibited tools and equipment in areas containing identified asbestos.
