Repair and maintenance requests

For this part of the assessment, you need to organise a repair or attend to a maintenance issue at a property. You have received a notice to remedy a breach from a tenant which indicates that there is a repair or maintenance issue which has occurred at their property. You can use the document Maintenance and Repair Descriptions or you can use one of the following:

• Bathroom tap is leaking into the vanity
• Key is stuck in the lock in the front door
• Back step has broken and there are sections of timber missing
• Bathroom has flooded due to a tap being left running
• A fly screen has been ripped and mosquitoes are getting in at night

You should then use the Quote Request form provided or your own document to locate a suitable tradesperson and include their details.
