Craig owns an expensive grand piano worth $40,000. Expensive pianos require stable environmental conditions to remain in good condition. He hires Mark to repair an air conditioning system in his home near the piano. Mark is careless when he is working and removes the air conditioning unit from the wall, but it slips from his grip. It smashes into the piano and renders it nearly worthless.

Craig is considering suing Mark for the damage done to the grand piano. Recommend to Mark whether he should choose to use Small Claims Court or go to BC Supreme Court.
