Create a charter for an improvement project involving a healthcare process with which you are familiar. Complete as many sections of the charter as possible. Key features that should be included are the AIM statement, problem statement, importance of project, expected outcomes, measure descriptions, risks/barriers, stakeholders, project scope, schedule, and team members. All sections of the template should be completed based on the project. On the UNC School of Medicine's Institute for Healthcare Quality Improvement website, there is a template for the charter, as well as charter examples to reflect upon before completing the project.
