create a methods portion of a comprehensive exam, following the examples you have worked on this semester. The methods section is very predictable in that it has taken the same form for several years. The only major change from year to year is the dataset and therefore, the specific hypotheses. The types of questions, the number of questions and the general instructions all remain the same. For that reason, you can simply use one of the other comprehensive exams in the Resource folder as a template.Your task is to choose a specific dataset and develop four specific hypotheses from it.Then you will run the appropriate analysis in STATA, save your work in a log-file, and write thorough answers to the questions related to these hypotheses, using the "methods example question answers" as a guide.
You may choose which dataset you want to use.Preliminary data from the student survey taken this semester is available for use and any of the other datasets found in the Resource folder are fine.If you would like to use a dataset that you identified and worked with in the Fall semester that is also fine. If you are unsure whether a dataset is appropriate, please ask for clarification. You will submit your edited dataset along with your exam questions, answers, and log-file.The edited dataset should only have those variables that are necessary to test your hypotheses.
