Figure 1. E The operation of the machine is as follows, 1. The CONVEYOR moves empty bottles from the left to the right until a bottle is detected at the FILLSTATION_SENSOR (which is a N.O. proximity sensor, A ) the conveyor stops. (Note: The conveyor is controlled by a 24 VDC relay) 2. The Fill_Station_PUMP (a 24 VDC motor) starts pumping milk into the bottle. A Flow_Sensor (which is a N.O. Flow sensor, C) detects the flow of milk. If the Fill_Station_PUMP but no flow is detected then a Fill_Station_PUMP_ALARM ( 24 VDC Buzzer) must be turned on. 3. When the BOTTLE_FULL_SENSOR (which is a proximity sensor, B) detects that the bottle is full the conveyor starts back up again until the bottle is detected by the AT_CAPPING_STATION_SENSOR(which is a N.O. limit switch sensor, D). The conveyor stops and the BOTTLE_CAPPER starts, placing a bottle cap on the bottle. 4. When the BOTTLE_CAPPER is finished the conveyor starts again until the bottle is detected by the READY_FOR_PACKAGING_SENSOR (which is a N.O. limit switch sensor, E), the conveyor stops. 5. When the READY_FOR_PACKAGING_SENSOR detects a bottle the MOVE_TO_PACKAGING (controlled by a 24 VDC relay) robot arm moves the bottle to a box
