You are asked to write response on the following prompt:

 

Consider Canada's present economic conditions (you will need to use at least one current source for research). Imagine that you are a resident of Quebec, and you need to decide on your vote for the next referendum. Taking into account what you have learnt about past historical conflicts and your view of the current situation, decide whether to vote for separation from Canada or for staying in Canada.

Part 1: State your decision. Would you vote for or against separating from Canada?

Part 2: Explain your reasoning by making at least one reference to historical events from our lectures and at least one reference to the current economic climate and health conditions in Canada (use in-text citations and a References Page). Explain why Quebec would benefit or lose from remaining a Canadian province.
