Create algorithm for a comprehensive search of the space using the tools given below. We are looking for fingerprints, footprints, organic materials, fibers, and heat anomalies. Now go earn this weeks paycheck--I dont have all week!

We are sending investigators back to the scene of the crime to see if we can learn anything new that seems to fit in with what we learned from Brushes and Wheels.

Were going to apportion each wall, the floor, and the ceiling in the gallery where the artwork was stolen into a 10x10 grid. Wed like for you to write and turn in a search algorithm that outlines a repeatable process that should be performed on each square in this grid, along with how it should be repeated across the whole room for each of the six surfaces.

You should indicate what youd like done in each square, and what rules to follow, in as much detail as youd like, to find any clues that we might have missed. Remember, an algorithm is a recipe -- its a step-by-step set of instructions that can be followed to achieve a particular result. The granularity (level of detail) exhibited is up to you -- but it should be granular enough that our investigators know exactly what to do in each of the squares were laying out. Some of these investigators are even more green than you, so don't assume they know what they're doing. Got it?

Tools at our disposal for this search include:

using UV light to look for organic material

using a fingerprinting kit to lift any prints that are found

collecting any samples that are found in sterile vials for further analysis

labeling any collected items

using a normal camera to capture pictures

using an infrared camera to examine the heat signature of the square, and discover anything unusual
