Think/questions to clarify with manager, for example (list is not exclusive):

Will this performer/these performers resonate with my peers?

• Are they local, or "in town" at your desired date?
• What is our budget? Will they perform for what you can pay? What's "in it" for them?
• Include event details such as day/time/location
• Your closing should include a "call to action" (you want to hear back, of course)

• Tone: Professional (respectful, friendly, excited, to the point) but NOT formal

• Subject line must be informative & catchy (why should the recipient read this?)
• Must have appropriate greeting (Dear....)
• Must have appropriate sender's address block with all pertinent sender's info
