    4. Join an organization (ACM, AITP, IEEE-CS, etc.)
    5. Join a local user group (Linux User Group, SQL User Group, .NET User Group, etc.)
    6. Attend company-sponsored events
    7. Volunteer (at specific organizations and events related to 2, 4 and 5 above)

  • Which activities are fundamental to achieving your long-term goals
  • Which skills can be strengthened in the shortest time or with the least amount of effort
