Creating a BPMN diagram Sarah owns her own dental surgery called Smiley Dental in Sydney. Dental surgery is considered an essential service so her business has been fortunate to remain open during the global pandemic. However, Sarah has noticed an influx of new patients in recent times and due to the demand, she is struggling to keep an appropriate record of patients and payments. In order to help Sarah get through this time of flux, she has enlisted your help in coming up with a way of reorganising her patients admission process. Following detailed consultations with Sarah, the new patients admission process is as follows: The process begins when a patient arrives into Sarahs practice. The receptionist first checks if the patient is already registered and if so, verifies their existing details. If this is a new patient the receptionist creates a new patient record file. The receptionist then asks the patient to proceed to the treatment room to wait for Sarah and electronically sends the patients record file to Sarah. During the appointment Sarah carries out an initial assessment of the patients teeth. Based on the assessment she then creates a treatment plan for the patient and decides how to proceed. If Sarah determines that severe dental decay is present she will issue the patient with an emergency referral to attend Sydneys Dental Hospital. If severe dental decay is not present, Sarah will proceed to treat the patient in her own clinic. On completion of treatment, Sarah must update the patients treatment plan and provide a copy of this treatment plan to the patient. Sarah must also provide the patient with dental hygienic products and update the patients record file on the system. Sarah then asks the patient to continue to the front desk for payment before going home. Before the patient leaves, the receptionist records the appropriate payment details on file and generates a bill, which is given to the patient. Due to the pandemic, cash is no longer accepted and the patient can only pay by credit or debit card. Finally, the receptionisist issues a receipt to the patient prior to departure. Please model the new patient admission process using BPMN in the swim lane layout. Make sure that you account for all the activities, decisions, and data/document flows referred to in the narrative. Do not make your own assumptions.
