Week 2 CAT 2

I worked with the Sheriff for years before this incident. He was considered fair, unbiased, respectful, and understanding to the diverse communities. This issue shocked me due to the nature of the offense. The community still supported him after the guilty plea. His offense affected procedures, hearings, and trials due the evidence tampering. "From this perspective, any form of group work requires awareness of adherence to certain behaviors defined as ethical and establishes boundaries that cannot be breached without risk of professional sanctions" (Becvar, Becvar, & Canfield, 1997, p. 144). The guilty plea created a ripple of effect for policies and procedures, organizational change and leadership, and ethical practices.
