Now that you have learned the different Modes of Judicial Selection, the political implications, and the work that judges search for, read, and discuss an NPR story related to judicial selection.

1. Analyze how the roadblocks in judicial appointments effect our legal system

- Is justice being met?

- what strain is being put on the appellate judges already in court?

- do the political agendas of the president and the Senate really matter, etc.

2. As our political atmosphere continues to polarize, does the current mode of appellate judge/Supreme Court judge selection seem to be working? If not, would another mode present better options?
