Critical thinking is a valuable skill in every aspect of life. Consider the times when you have used critical thinking and how it affected the situation. In this assignment, you will analyze a scenario and use critical thinking to propose a course of action.

To benefit from critical thinking, you must be able to communicate your thoughts verbally as well as in writing. Presentations give you an opportunity to focus your thoughts into a few key ideas, then provide a verbal explanation of those ideas. As a presenter, you may be expected to face an audience and speak in person, or you may need to share your ideas remotely. Visual presentation software can be used effectively with speaker notes and audio recordings to enhance the quality of your presentations. As you become more familiar with using tools for making presentations, you'll find it easier to prepare your thoughts to share with a group.

Scenario:

• You are a manager and are having a team meeting. Two people on the team get in a dispute about how to complete a project.

Include the following in your presentation:

• Describe the interaction/situation/problem. What inferences did you have to make, or what conclusions did you have to draw about the scenario?
• Explain the issues you identified in the scenario. Which factors should be considered?What is the source of the conflict?
• List the questions you asked yourself that demonstrate critical thinking. How did you address each question in your thinking process?
