In Florida, we are faced with the threat of major hurricanes each year. When hurricanes come , thousands of contracts are in place for items and/or property that may be destroyed or damaged by the storm, or for services that can no longer be performed due to the storm.

What can parties to contracts do in regards to this? How would someone handle destruction of the subject property in the terms of a contract?
