There are six types of performance appraisals; For example:Management by objective- This is a when a workers performance is evaluated based on particular aspects. A360 review: This appraisal provides multiple sources of feedback from multiple sources.A project-based review focuses on an employee's performance on a specific project.A self-assessment review: allows employee to express their feelings about their personal performance. Peer review: Allows co-workers to review. Lastly,The behaviorally anchored rating scale: Thistechnique uses a range of numbers to score the employee. Out of these various types of appraisals I believe that the best and most effective style would be the concept of BARS would be the best technique for this simply because there would be no biased from self evaluations, peer evaluations will not always be accurate. This will give the most precise judgement and evaluation of the employee without person-person interest.
