The following information is projected for the remainder of the year: 1. Opening stock at the beginning of the second quarter is as follows: Finished goods: 600 units Raw materials: 5000 kg 2. Budgeted sales for the remainder of 2021 are as follows: Second quarter: 3 000 units Third quarter: 4 500 units Fourth quarter: 3 600 units 3. The company plans to hold sufficient finished goods stocks to meet one third (1 3 ) of the forthcoming quarter's sales. 4.
