Crunchy Biscuit Ltd produces a product that must go through two production processes which are Mixing and Packaging. All manufacturing costs that will be added uniformly for both processes. The information given below is obtained from the Mixing department for the month of April 2021. i. There are 3,000 units of work in process inventory (30% completion) on 1st April with the cost of direct material, direct labour and factory overhead are RM11,641, RM4,054 and RM2,150 respectively. ii. During the month of April, 8,650 units were completed and transferred out to the Packaging department involving the additional costs to the production process: Direct Materials RM16,720 Direct Labour RM17,580 Factory Overhead RM 7,344 ii. On 30th April, there were 1,350 units partially completed units still in process with 70% completion.
