Consider a cryptosystem where the user enters a key in the form of a password. Assume a password consisting of 8 characters which contains 1 uppercase letter and 7 lowercase letters. Note that 26 lowercase and 26 uppercase letters can be used. The uppercase character cannot be the last character of the password and can be located any other 7 places in the password. For instance, Qwertyui is a valid password but abcdefgH is not. What is the size of the key space that can be constructed by such passwords? What is the corresponding key length in bits?
