CSV was developed by Professor Michael Porter, who is considered the father of modern business strategy. It$$s a concept $$ and a framework $$ for organizations to realize business success while at the same time addressing the needs of society. $($I was fortunate to have worked with Professor Porter about a decade ago on a brief project.$)$

Do some high$-$level research to learn about CSV$,$ and then summarize your thoughts for us$.$ Is CSV a pipe dream $$ can doing good for society $($and the environment$)$ be good for corporate success? Can the two goals be harmonious? Is CSV genuine? Is it possible?
