Cults have a Constitutional right to exist in the United States. They also have the right to believe and behave as they wish as long as no laws are broken. Law Enforcement constantly trains in order to remain proactive when it comes to cult activities and police intervention. The Attorney General's Office initiated a New Federal Protocol in the early '90s.
