It is essential that business students are cognizant of the events going on in the world. For this assignment research and review one article from a business publication relating to a topic in human resources. The topic should pertain to your reading in the text or a topic discussed in class. Your assignment is to provide an in-depth analysis of the article and subject matter.
Articles can comefrom one of the below periodicals or journals and published within the last two years:
Wall Street Journal Bloomberg Business Week Fortune Magazine
New York Times Economist Entrepreneur

- summary of the article's key points
- apply some of the concepts and examples we have discussed in class and from your reading in the text.
- an explanation of the significance or relevance of the article to HR(human resources)
- draw some conclusions and share your opinion (this part can be written in 1st person) How has this article informed your understanding of HR? What should be done to address the issues in the article? Provide a recommendation.
- You must speculate on the implications of the HR management issue(s) (e.g. How does it help or harm themselves or their organization? Why does it help or harm their organization? Why should we be paying attention to this issue? What would happen if we ignored the issue?
