Custer Publishing, Inc.'s person in charge of West Coast publishing, Andy Bennett, recently left the company to work for Grant Publishing. We at Custer Publishing are concerned we may lose money because of this. We want to enforce a non-compete agreement with Mr. Bennett which restricted him from working anywhere in the country for a period of four years and ask the court for an injunction preventing him from working for Grant as the agreement allows. Mr. Bennett, who supervised three people of our 1200 staff members, was an at-will employee and signed the agreement after his first year. We did not give him a raise after he signed.
