Cut-off values for KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices) studies

I'm trying to identify a good cut-off value or percentile for my KAP study. My objective is to categorize values into good/positive or bad/poor KAP.

Upon viewing other KAP studies, the cut-off value varies from either 60%, 70%, 75%, and others 80%. In example, a study would indicate using 80% cut-off, hence a questionnaire category with a score range of 0-10 would translate to: scores of 8-10 are considered good knowledge/attitude/practices, while scores of 0-7 are considered poor knowledge/attitude/practices.

An adapted questionnaire (slightly modified) was utilized for this study. I find it difficult to strictly adhere or parallel the cut-off values (70%) for data analysis from which the questionnaire was sourced from, for which there was no indicated reason nor supporting literature cited as to why that cut-off value was selected.

Most of other KAP studies follow a modified Bloom's cut off point of either a 60% or 80%.

I am at lost what cut-off value to select. Would there be a standard cut-off value in categorizing good or bad KAP? If I were to assign my own cut-off value should I choose the common cut-off value chosen by other KAP studies strictly towards my subject of interest (or can it be generally any KAP study), and state this as my reason for setting the cut-off?
