Assume your instructor is the projects sponsor, you are the project managers.

Team members include Joe Programmer, a programmer/analyst and aspiring project manager; Patrick, a network specialist; Nancy, a business analyst; and Bonnie, another programmer/analyst. Other people are supporting the project from other departments, including Yusaff from human resources and Cassandra from finance. Approval is needed to bring additional resources on the project.

You have three months to complete the project.

Part 2: Project Scope Management

Your instructor has designated you as the project manager for the Cyber-Center Website Project. The schedule goal is three months, and the budget is $51,000. Use your project management knowledge and systems analysis experience to manage the project. Put the project team together. Develop a survey to solicit input from all Cyber-Security faculty and students about the new website and make sure it was user-friendly. Refer to the Cyber-Center Website description above.

Develop a work breakdown structure for the project. Break down the work to Level 3 or Level 4, as appropriate. Use the template and samples in this text as guides. Print the WBS in list form. Be sure the WBS is based on the project charter earlier, the project scope statement created in Task 2, and other relevant information.
