Cynthia Kenyon The Experiment that Hint of Longer Lives vision is to create a drug that delay aging and age-related diseases by staying younger longer. Such as, in comparisons to a human's life compared to a dog life-span. By doing so using FOXO(Protein) gene to impact the lifespan of people.

Cynthia is aware that FOXO gene is in different forms as she compares her eyes to those of the audience to clarify the difference in their eyes is similar towards the different in FOXO genes found in people that live 90-100. And there are difference forms of the FOXO gene which can impact lifespan of people. Her objective is to develop a drug that will tweak the FOXO gene to increase health and longevity of people. The drug will activate the FOXO cell using human cell that will delay aging and aging diseases. Cynthia's creditability comes from her Chemistry and biochemistry experience at the University of Georgia and background as the American Cancer Society Professor. Her desire to increase lifespan began in 1993, as she "In 1993, Kenyon and colleagues' discovery that a single-gene mutation could double the lifespan of C. elegans sparked an intensive study of the molecular biology of aging. These findings have now led to the discovery that an evolutionarily conserved hormone signaling system controls aging in other organisms as well, including mammals." Leading to Cynthia to gain acknowledgement for her individual accolades through public recognition such as honors and rewards. Cynthia geared the message of creating a drug to staying younger longer and putting off aging towards her average intelligence level group by utilizing verbiage, drawings and pictures of animals. Also, her PowerPoint and storytelling about the normal (adult warm) and mutant warms (long live) lifespan in comparison to the lifespan of aging. First both warms are moving swiftly and two weeks later the normal warms (getting old) is detreating and moving slower, while the mutant warm (DAF-2 mutants) aging slower is moving swift and comfortable. It takes

two days for the mutant warm to age as fast as the normal warm does in one day. The use of this PowerPOint or simulation about the mutant and normal warms allows for Cynthia to use her charisma as a speaker to gear her message to listeners of all different ages. For example, Cynthia stated that "suppose you're a guy in your 30's and you meet someone you like, get to know her and you're in a restaurant and you say well, how old are you, and she says well I'm sixty. And you'll never know." After this statement you notice an uproar of laughter, considering her interaction and ability to relate with storytelling she successfully is engaged with her audience. With the attention of the audience Cynthia uses the example of injection of the DAF-2 in mice, flies, and warms to expand life as a tool to sell the audience on her vision. Also, she made the same mutation as did to the warms to flies and mice and they worked, allowing them to live longer. Raising the question, will this work in humans? Describing the use of FOXO which is used during bad times to trigger cell protection and repair the cell. Her anecdote about the maintenance guy of a building in comparison to the FOXO ability to improve capability of the cell, secure and protect it from damage. I believe this effectively sold the audience on her vision, like the building maintenance guy is to call everyone to fortify the house to place the house into better living condition in case of emergency and nothing happens, this is just as FOXO does to the DNA. FOXO gene can impact the lifespan of people and Cynthia believe if its tweaked a little we can increase the health and longevity of people. Cynthia uses heavy impact and provoking words when stating "One study was done to Jews, in New York City, New York most people will live to be 70-80 but some live to be 90-100. What they found was that people who lived to be 90-100 had DAF-2 mutations that is changes in the gene that in codes the receptor for IGF-1. These changes made the gene not act as well as the normal gene would have acted, they damaged the gene. Hints that humans are receptive to these hormones towards aging." Cynthia expands the thoughts of the audience after this statement, allowing them to visualize living past the age of 90-100 considering the benefits of the impact of FOXO. She uses a chart to show the data of DAFT-2 receptor active in a normal warm it triggers series of events that prevent FOXO from getting into the nucleus where can't turn the genes on. This is good for the normal warm when food and stress is not harmful. Under condition of stress these conditions adjust or drop causing for the need of the maintenance guy as discussed previously.
