D1 This sheet details the costs for each labour activity. Activity codes are numbered according to the level of skill and associated cost, of that task, e.g. task number 2045 is in the 2000-2999 band and should have the rate shown in H5. Using the lookup data in F4:H7 look up the correct rate for each activity code. Check the formula has copied down correctly. Note: Special does not have a category so it will get an N/A error. Adjust the calculation in C4 so that if the formula returns an #NA error it shows an empty cell rather than an error message. The formula should copy down and the #N/A should disappear. D2 D3 H9 contains the markup rate that we apply when charging customers for labour. In D4 use the rate in H9 to calculate the charge rate by adding that percentage amount to the Labour Cost in C4.
