Dante is a 13 year old boy who lives with is father. His mother abused him and then run off with her drug dealer. She was addicted to cocaine and alcohol. His father also drinks a case of beer every night that he gets home from work. Dante has already been to juvenile jail once for hanging out with the wrong people and breaking into cars. He has already tried alcohol a few times, the first time when he was 10 years old. His only support system is his grandmother and grandfather. He spends the weekends at their house and typically goes to church with them. He reports having a strong faith and religious identity. Some of his friends he goes to church with like to hang out and play basket ball. They do not drink and do drugs.
