"CDROM, RAM, Cache and Disk are the main memory types in the storage hierarchy. Apart from these, other memory types are also known. Memories can belong to more than one of the mentioned types. A memory has the attributes of the manufacturing company, production year and capacity. Diameter in inches for CDROM; Word size and production technology for RAM; average access time for Cache; Block size, spin speed and seek time for Disk are additional attributes. Cache memories are divided into two: Levell Cache or Level$2$ Cache, and a cache memory can be only one of them."
