Scenario:

Recently (last 20 batches) customer service have logged a number of complaints regarding the taste and consistency of the product.

Your task:

The quality assurance and quality control teams have been tasked with exploring the issues. The teams have decided to establish control charts in response to the product variability. The control charts will be based on data from 100 batched of data.

Your task is to use the process data and apply quality tools to generate control charts (and other graphs) for the process and to plot the last 20 production batches (March to April) in order to deduce any problems in the three major qualities (protein, carbs and fat).

1- Analyze process data using any Quality Tools covered in BTC2400 (Scatter Plots, Check lists. Stratification, etc. Label your graphs and or tables here)

) Comment on each of the product quality histograms for the 100 batches

2) Based on your control chart analysis was our yogurt process in a state of control during the inspection dates of March 19th to April 7th?

3) Comment on each control individual control chart (trends/issues) provide possible interpretations of any trends or issues

4) Comment on any other plots (or data analysis) you have used to analyze the process

5) Construct a cause an effect diagram (Ishikawa/fishbone) showing your thoughts on potential causes of the product variability (note: you are not assigning cause just identifying a range of potential causes).

6) Comment on the use of control charts in monitoring product quality - pros, cons.
