Dave is a 6 year old child. He discovers a bottle of bleach by his Mother's washing machine. Before he can drink the bleach, his Mother stops him and tells him not to touch the bleach because it will make him sick.

Dave then goes outside to play with his ball. As Dave is throwing it in the air, the ball goes over the short split rail fence into Mr. Peters' yard. Mr. Peters, age 80, is pruning his roses and sees the ball come over the fence. Mr. Peters picks up the ball and takes it into his house.

Dave gets mad and goes into his house and gets the bottle of bleach. Without stepping onto Mr. Peters' property, Dave pours the bleach on Mr. Peters' roses. All of the roses die. What tort is being broken?
