"Hi, its Sgt Jenson here late shift response sergeant. Two of my team have arrested Jessy Bains who is 19 on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs outside the bus station. My officers found 8 of small bags of cannabis on him. The security guard at the bus station reckons that he kept approaching kids and has been hanging around for the last 2 days. He has recorded this on CCTV. You better go down to custody and deal with it as it is one of the force objectives. Don't forget the new Police Crime Commissioners views on these drug dealers. Get it right and get him locked up. I don't want a phone call from HQ tomorrow because we went soft at Sandtown".

"Hi is that DC Brumage? Its Cathy Jones Social worker at Sandtown Social Services. I have been asked by Teresa Bains to ring you as you have her son Jessy in custody. You are probably aware, but Jessy has learning difficulties so will need an appropriate adult. His mother is not well enough, and she is a single parent. Jessy cannot read or right and has a limited understanding of things. I am actually his case worker. We housed him last month in a supported bedsit. We are really worried about him as we believe that gang members from Manchester have befriended him. I am more than happy to come to the station and act as an appropriate adult".
