The purpose of this discussion is to get feedback on the degree to which you feel you are getting the education you expected to get when you signed on for this degree program.

1. Tell me a little about how well prepared you feel you are getting to be able to compete for jobs in your chosen career when you graduate?

2. More specifically, do you think that your written communication skills are up to par in your chosen field? Why do you feel that way?

3. How about your ability to make oral presentations on topics related to your major course of study? I know some students come into this school with some shyness about getting up and making an oral presentation. Did that affect any of you? If so, have you been able to overcome that shyness at all? How so, or how not so?

4. Comment on the relationship between the topics you have been studying in your major not just in this class but more broadly and your expected ability to apply them to an internship or other experience? For example, for those of you who have some work experience already, how does what you are studying relate or not relate to what you see in your job or in the business world generally?

5. Consider your feeling toward the theories you have been studying in your program and their application to the wider world and business situations. Have the courses you have been taking spend time to tie theory to practice? How so, or how not so?
