1 Navigate to the Document 46.6 launch page in the Online Lab and then click the Launch

Activity button to open Doc046.06 in the activity window.

2 Review the scenario outlined in Figure 46.5. Using the information provided in the scenario,

compose a three-paragraph memo consisting of the following information:

a In the first paragraph, explain the reason for the trip.

b In the second paragraph, outline the itinerary, which consists of two days in St. Louis,

one day in Memphis, three days in Cincinnati, and one day in Indianapolis.

c Following the second paragraph, insert a table that includes the names of the companies

you will visit (invent simple names), the city in which each company is located, the number of days you will be on-site, the number of employees at each company (choose numbers between 10 and 90), and the annual fee your company receives from each client (choose amounts between $100,000 and $500,000).

d In the third paragraph, indicate what you hope to accomplish on the trip.

3 Format the table so that the overall appearance is pleasing and the information is easy to

read and interpret.

4 Proofread and correct any errors in the document.

5 Save the document.

6 Click the Submit button to upload the document for instructor review.

You decide to write a memo to your company president, Mr. Keith Banks. In the memo, you will state the reason for the trip, outline the details of the trip itinerary, and indicate what you hope to accomplish on the trip.
