Question -The main bar unit uses an average of 90 bottles of white Rum per month.The purchase price of 1 bottle of rum is Rs 450,000.The cost for placing each amounts of Rs210.The carrying cost claimed by the supplier is 14% of the inventory value.

  1. Work out the Economic Order Quantity

  2. Calculate the number of ordres per year to the nearest order.

  3. Find the lead time between each order to the nearest dau assuming that a year consists of 365 days.

  4. The supplier has proposed to make deliveries in fixed quantities of 24lts.Calculate the additional cost that will be generated on the number of orders for a year.

  5. The value of closing stock beverages as on 28th July 2020 was estimated to be Rs 735,735.

Daily store requisition amounted to Rs 805,220 for the month.

The value of opening stock for the month was Rs 710,225.

On every Fridays customer have the opportunity to enjoy happy hour,where buy one get one free drinks promotion is done, the happy hour applies for the selected non premium brand only.The free drinks consumed by the customers for the month amounted Rs45000.

Transfers from bar to other departments amounted to Rs365000.

The total sales generated from the outlet for the month of July amounted to Rs 2010200.Calculate the cost of beverage sold for the month.
