Dear Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Management Professional:

One of the most important things that came out of the pandemic has been the increased interest in logistics, and especially the innovation within the logistics industry.

There have been several business disruptions since March 2020. It seems that we are approaching return to normalcy from the pandemic. However, at present, we seem to be looking towards many post-covid challenges that are showing up in new problems, including shortages in supply chains.

Review one such industry that is having implications for domestic and global operations by creating a presentation about what role logistics is playing in its supply chain operations. You can pick any industry you like, whether retail, healthcare, hospitality, or manufacturing.

Remember though that many industries do intersect with each other, and you can show their relationships and dependencies on each other. Additionally, academic learning, examples, and implications must be shown with good data backing your considerations.

This project will be divided into two parts:

Part A will be focused on the upstream activities including sourcing & warehouse management

Part B will be focused on the downstream activities including warehouse management and logistics operations to ship to consumers
