2. Provide two ways in which it is similar to Dr. Watkins definition of marketing: "Facilitation of the exchange. This describes marketing perfectly. When you facilitate, you make something easier. In most businesses, the desired exchange is your money for their goods. Marketing's job is to make that easier. For example, if a convenience store wants you to buy gas from them, how do they make it easier for you to do that? They build the convenience store building at a busy intersection where people are. Therefore, to buy gas you don't have to do much because it is located on your way to school, work, or home. That is much easer than driving 50 miles to find gas. The marketing part was PLACE which is to locate the store convenient to where you are."
