How might violations of academic integrity impact me as a student, the school's or programs reputation, and even alumni when it's known that they tolerate violations?

When you hear or think of academic integrity, what comes to mind and what does it really mean?

How might violations of academic integrity affect:

How would the reputation of the program get or change once this is common knowledge?

How would the program itself suffer as well as the reputation of the school as an institution?

And what about the aftermath to the Graduates from the school (when violation are being committed and allowed)?

What might a potential employer be thinking during the interview with one of those graduates?
