A few days ago, Sally flew with Air Majestic ("Majestic") to New Zealand to visit her sister. She was served a packet of chips by the air stewardess while on board the plane. Sally was enjoying a movie while munching on the chips and suddenly tasted something bad in her mouth. She looked into the packet of chips and to her shock and horror, found partial remains of a dead lizard inside. Sally felt a sudden sense of distress and nausea. She couldn't make it to the toilet and vomited all over her seat. When she landed in New Zealand, Sally was admitted into the hospital for gastroenteritis and nervous shock. She was informed subsequently that the supplier of the chips to Air Majestic was Delish Chips Pty Ltd ("Delish"). Advise Sally who (the party/ies) she can sue and the remedies she is entitled to claim in the event she is able to successfully sue under the law of Delict.
