Deliverable 4- Test & Analyze Audit Documents After completing a policy review, the next step is to ensure these controls are working. There are large files that need to be analyzed. In a typical audit you will have to ask for this documentation however for this project we have provided you with all the files you will need. To complete the testing and analysis, you will be using the ACL software. Important Documents Hospital Environment Hospital Asset Inventory Hospital Audit Test Files Audit Test Results Template Criteria For each test, you need to perform your analysis on each given test file. First, identify a Control that should be in place for the test file. Controls could be used for detection, prevention, or mitigation. Second, identify the Testing Attributes, aka what criteria needs to be met to ensure proper function of the control. List this information in the Audit Test Results Template. Then, complete the testing using ACL. In the Results Template, make note of any irregularity in the files, including if anything is missing. To record these irregularities, use the Testing Matrix in the template. Only record irregular records in the Matrix. Choose fields from the log file that are relevant to the testing attributes, and use these to identify the irregular records. Then, match the irregularity to the attribute(s) it doesn't fit. In the Attributes section, select '-' to note Attributes that are met, and create a new Tickmark to note which Attribute(s) are irregular. Tickmarks are like footnotes.
