Deliverables of Sanctuary Project for Violence against Women and Children Victims Budget and financial report: This report would monitor the financial progress of the project, including budget tracking, expenditures, and any alterations to the budget throughout the duration of the project. Construction progress report: This report would provide an overview of the construction progress, including any modifications to the original plan, problems encountered, and milestones reached. Schedule progress report: This report would monitor the project's schedule, including any delays, timeline updates, and upcoming milestones or deadlines. Risk management report: This report would describe any identified risks, how they've been managed, and any contingency plans in place to deal with possible problems. Contract with the contractor: This agreement would document the scope, timeline, and financial terms of the contract between the project owner and the contractor. Supplier Contract: This contract would be used to outline the terms of the agreement between the project owner and the supplier who is providing the materials or services needed for the sanctuary, including materials needed for the construction, equipment, supplies, furniture and fixtures, discounts, warranties and guarantees. Architectural Contract: This contract is a legal document that establishes the terms and conditions of an agreement between an architect and the client. The contract outlines the scope of work, services to be provided, project timelines, compensation, and any other relevant terms and conditions. This also includes the design plans, drawings, exterior and interior design layout of the sanctuary. Donor and funding database: This database includes information on donors and their contributions to help fund in building the sanctuary. Legal and compliance documents: This database includes information on legal and regulatory requirements related to the operation of the sanctuary, including permits, licenses, and compliance with the laws and regulations. This includes building permit, electrical permit, fire safety permit, and sanitary permit. Maintenance documents: These documents detail the maintenance plan for the sanctuary once construction is complete. Project report: These are reports that indicate a project's activities without getting into many details. Survey reports: These are documents that present all information gathered and all results collected during a project study. Project charter: This document outlines a project to make a shared understanding of its goals, objectives and resource requirements before the project is thoroughly scoped out. Acceptance criteria: This defines what must be met in order for the project to be considered a success. Requirements document: This defines what will be the final service and how it will meet the needs of the stakeholder. Change control plan: This sets out the process for managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget.

Expected Benefits The project aims to provide a sanctuary to the women of violence- for according to Caecent No-ot Magsumbol of The Freeman newspaper, there has been an increase in the cases relating to violence against women and children (VAWC) in Cebu City in 2022, with 81 arrested and 332 victims. This is supported by the aforementioned report from The Manila Times that there had been 4 cases of women and children of violence within March 9-13, 2023. There are existing sanctuaries for the victims in the Philippines. However, this does not include Cebu. Also, the existing sanctuaries in the country only allow the victims an overnight stay. That said the project, Protektahan ang Kinabuhi: Building Sanctuary for VAWC victims of Cebu has the following expected benefits: Improved Sanctuary. The sanctuary project is in order to expand the capacity where victims are allowed to stay for longer durations and is provided basic necessities such as clothes, hygiene kits or toiletries, and food especially for those who just entered the facility. Safe Space. The sanctuary will be located in a remote area in Lilo-an where it is far from civilization. It is to ensure the security of the victims. Besides the protection that the project administers,everyone in the sanctuary including those that facilitates, maintains, and monitors the place, fosters the same values or presence of several people who resonate the same experiences may boost self-esteem and allow victims to heal. Decrease Cases of Violence. With the project, victims will have an escape from those that abuse them thus, reducing the influx of cases on violence in Cebu or the country. The project is done to ensure VAWC victims have a place they can call home where they are safe and valued which can be achieved through providing a better sanctuary in the Philippines. Moreover, the project aims to eliminate the burden carried along by the victims. Overall, it is to provide them a chance to live a better life.
