Scenario 1:

Samara is a social worker who works for a middle school of her clients is a 14-year old named Caesar who was receiving help from Samara related to his learning disability. Caesar appreciated Samara's help and wanted to show his gratitude by inviting Samar to lunch. Samara's initially refused, but Caesar convinced her that she would be doing him a favor. After having dinner together, Caesar confides in Samara that he is planning to run away from home. When Samara tries to counsel him out of running away and says she may have to tell his parents, Caesar warns her not to or he will tell the principal that she tried to seduce him. Besides, Caesar say, "It won't do any good. I'll still run away."

Scenario 2:

Spanky is a social worker who comes to work on the night shift, working the telephones for a crisis center. Webster, the worker who was on the early evening shift notes that Spanky is inebriated from alcohol. Webster tells Spanky to go home and sober up. Spank says, "Okay, I'll drive home," and walks out the door. Webster has to think quickly. Should he go after Spanky to stop him from driving while intoxicated or should he stay with the crisis telephones, since he's the only one on shift?
