Describe the fault tree analysis for the flash light that doesn't work . You will be responsible
Question:
Describe the fault tree analysis for the flash light that doesn't work. You will be responsible for the same number of fault trees as people in your group. For example, if you are working alone, you only need to complete one fault tree. If you are working in a group of 2, you must complete two fault trees and if you are working in a group of 3, you must provide 3 fault trees.
The fault trees only need to be qualitative (a quantitative evaluation is not required). Each fault tree needs to have a different top event for the product you have been assigned. Each fault tree must have at least three levels including the top event and must follow the guidelines/rules discussed in class.
Your fault trees can be completed electronically or by hand.
Please hand in your fault trees in pdf format by the due date on eConestoga. You will also be assigned a time to present your fault trees to the class during Week 7 or 9. Each student in a group must present. Please split the group presentation up so that each person presents a fault tree on their own as part of the presentation. If you also conducted some research or made some of your own assumptions to complete the fault trees, please include a slide in your presentation to summarize this work. As part of your presentation please discuss the number of cut sets your group identified and summarize the set of critical components you identified. Your presentation should take no longer than 3 minutes per fault tree.
