1. Increased state control, state intervention and totalitarianism vs individual freedom to test market principles in the market.
2. Global control and global governance e.g., Covid 19, WHO, CDC, WTO vs local self-governance.
3. Increase in the excessive demand and exercise of human rights vs fulfilling human responsibilities and accountabilities.
4. Increase in disrespect & distrust in leaders vs the search for inclusiveness, inspiration, and transformation.
5. Erosion of trust in large companies such as banks, MNCs, global accounting & auditing companies.
6. New imperialism in Africa, e.g., China & USA and its implications
7. Network governance, value added governance and E-governance vs the gaps in the application of these concepts in Namibia.
8. Classification of information as 'top secret' and 'classified' to hide unlawful and oppressive behaviour by governments such as spying on citizens and the deep state.
9. Technocracies: Data dictatorships and hacking of people's ability to make independent decisions vs the search for self-governance.
10. Increasing search by people for democratising of the workplace and to make work meaningful, e.g., Semco.
