Describe what types of technologies related to inventory management that may be integrated into the information system, say who (i.e., which employees in the organization) will use what type of technology, and the benefits and challenges of integration to system. More specific, do we use the full potential with bar coding? Should we consider RFID or a more recent, more efficient IT? May we integrate just-in-time (JIT) for inventory management, or not? May we integrate vendor managed inventory (VMI) for better inventory management? Make sure you address the technology needs for 1) the field sales representatives, 2) the regional sales managers, and 3) the retail stores. Describe how transactions online will be integrated into the business, say how MCC might implement its online business strategy including online real-time access to availability of products/services
