Your task in this reflection is to assess the practicalities of cancel culture and propose an alternative, if desired. PROCEDURE 1. Based on the definitions of cancel culture discussed in the readings for this week--as well as the definitions discussed in class--define cancel culture in your own words and from your own perspective (that is, your definition can differ drastically from the varied definitions in the readings; you just need to acknowledge where your definition diverges from the prevailing foundations of cancel culture). 2. Based on your definition, discuss the productivity, practicalities, possibilities, and perils of cancel culture. 3. Propose an alternative to or an improvement of cancel culture that would be positively productive. How should it work, who would it help, what pitfalls would it avoid, etc.?
