In addition, the new building will provide technology for the virtual classroom environment. The project will be completed by coordination with the Civil Engineering team and in conjunction with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to building codes and standards.

Part 1:
- On the subsequent page, enter the Title: "Introduction" As the project manager on the hypothetical project to construct a new building to support the expansion of the Uvic Continuing Education, you have been invited to series of meetings with key stakeholders to plan the project and gather information for the successful execution of the project. You are furnished with information on the constraints, limitations, benefits, budget and timelines for the project. With the information you have obtained, draft in no more than 5 lines the introduction section of your project plan, starting with why the project was undertaken and provide rationale on the idea behind the project's initiation. In the introduction section:
- Define what a project plan is
- Include components that make up a project plan.
- Identify the problem that will be solved by completing the project.
- Below the Introduction, enter the subtitle: "Project Goal and Objectives": The goals and objectives of the project are statements that describe what the project will accomplish. The scope statement showcases the assumptions, processes and key stakeholders involved in the execution of the project goals and objections. In no more than 5 lines for each, write a project scope statement at a high level that provides information on the project's outcome and the issue addressed by the completion of the project. The project statement of work is a summary of the work to be undertaken by a project team as well as critical factors that will affect the outcome. The scope section will include the following:
- Below the Project Scope Statement, enter the subtitle: "Deliverables" This is a list of the final deliverables that will be provided to the UVic Continuing Education at the close of the project. Part 2: Project Work Breakdown Structure
The Work Breakdown Structure WBS applies a step-by-step approach to highlight the actions steps to meet the project's deliverables. The main question when developing the Work Breakdown Structure is what needs to be done and who will do it.
