Design a commonemitter singlestage BFR93A amplifier to have minimum noise figure at 900 MHz using Ansoft Designer. The circuit is fed by a 12V power supply. Set VCQ as 8V, and set ICQ as 5mA. Sweep frequency range for the simulations should be from 100 MHz to 1500 MHz with 5 MHz steps.
(a) Design a dc bias circuit and verify its operation.
(b) Check the stability of the amplifier. Plot K, B1, and from 100 MHz to 1500 MHz. Plot input and output stability circles at 900 MHz.
(c) If the amplifier is potentially unstable, stabilize it using resistive loading. Plot K, B1, and from 100 MHz to 1500 MHz. Plot input and output stability circles at 900 MHz.
(d) Plot all Sparameters of the stable amplifier from 100 MHz to 1500 MHz.
(e) Achieve a minimum noise figure by designing an input matching network for S=opt.
(f) Plot NF and FMIN in decibels. (g) Plot also S11, S22, S12, and S21 magnitudes in decibels for this part
